I recently asked members of my networking group what technical tools from an administration perspective they would love to learn more about which will help support their business. There were a number of submissions but one that piqued my interest was around the use of resources for appointment and scheduling online. Are you struggling to find the time to manage appointment and scheduling for your clients? Is that you? Do you double book appointments?
Let me make a suggestion. Why not try an online scheduler which will automatically book your appointments for you. It will save you a ton of time and allow you to become more productive. To save you time researching these tools, let me share with you 5 tools I have come across to schedule appointments online which you can try.
No 1: Acuity Scheduling
Clients can see your real-time calendar availability, self-select the time that works best for them and easily book (and pay for!) their own appointments in advance, sparing you current headaches, mix-ups & grunts of frustration. There is a free plan but in my opinion you should upgrade. I think automatic reminders and being able to personalise your online calendar is important. Prices start from $10 per month and you can try it first for 14 days to make sure it is a good fit for you.
No 2: Calendly
This scheduling tool will impress and delight invitees with an elegant design and smooth experience. It integrates well with other platforms such as google calendar and zapier. It is fully optimised for all devices. It checks your Google or Office 365 calendar for conflicts, so you’re never double-booked. It adds new events to your calendar automatically. No credit card required to use this. The premium plan is $8 per month but the free plan gives a lot too. You can schedule unlimited events and take advantage of the automatic reminders on the free plan.
This is a little different as this online appointment and scheduling platform actually transforms your website into a LiveSite offering self service online appointment scheduling. Clients can schedule a consultation, appointment or service at their convenience. This software integrates into any web or mobile site, email campaign and social network. It integrates well with your existing calendars and saves a lot of time with scheduling appointments. Effectively manage all client interactions in one place and save time on scheduling, billing, coordination and reminders. Accept credit card payments online, create and email invoices and track your income with a centralised dashboard. Manage clients with an online CRM or mobile app, quickly respond to requests when on-the-go and initiate new interactions.
There is a free plan but the paid version is pricey at around £19.90 per month.
- Business management app (clients, calendar, billing, documents)
- LiveSite client portal (forms, files & custom actions)
- Limited to 300 client records
You have the ability to start a trial with the paid version.
No 4: Youcanbookme
YouCanBook.me is a booking software that integrates with your Google or iCloud Calendar. Get a personalised appointment and scheduling page so your customers can book you online. This one is also great because you are able to take payments for your sessions online, upload photos and images, automatic confirmations of appointments to your clients and personalised fields so that you can speak directly to your clients. No credit card required and you can cancel anytime. There is a free plan but with the paid version, prices start at £7 per month.
No 5: Timetrade
This option offers appointment and scheduling, queue management, and reporting—in a modular, scalable, secure cloud solution.
TimeTrade unifies the end-to-end customer journey so your business can hold personalised conversations with customers and prospects—face-to-face, by phone or online—that propel the engagement process and drive your business.
This enables your customers and prospects to conveniently schedule appointments via mobile devices, voice, text, web or your customer-facing app.
This is more suited to larger businesses. If this is of interest to you, please contact the company directly so they can provide a quotation to you based on your requirements
These are the tools for booking appointments online that I have come across. Why not check them out and give one of them a try. Have I missed one that you have used and you have experienced good success with it? If so, please let me know in the comment box below.
If after reading this post, you feel that you would prefer a less automated option for managing your appointments, please contact me so we can discuss other options that may be of service to you.
